Ta Cu Mountain is one of the most famous peaks in Phan Thiet. It is located approximately 40 kilometers from the city center. Ta Cu Mountain captivates visitors with its awe-inspiring landscapes and its spiritual significance, featuring ancient temples and pagodas.
The highlight of this destination is the largest reclining Buddha statue in Southeast Asia, measuring 49 meters in length and 11 meters in height. It was constructed in 1962 (the pagoda dates back to 1850). Visitors can take a cable car ride to the mountain’s summit, which offers panoramic views of Phan Thiet’s lush greenery on clear days.
